About one thousand years ago during the Heian period, people liked cherry blossoms so much that they soon surpassed the plum blossoms for popularity in Japan. Although fleeting, cherry blossoms are an unforgettable feature of spring and they are now prominently used for decoration in every season.

This is the thickest stock available. It has a smooth and glossy finish, and is recommended for kimono-based designs (Tomihiro, Atelier Hitoshhio, and Eshibori dyeing factory designs).
